Why is open rate important?

Post by khatunsadna9 »

“Workflow” is the magic word behind everything. Remember flowcharts? Those are the ones! To set up an automation like the one described above ( if X happens then do Y ), you need to create a flowchart, with a start, end, actions, and decision conditions. You need to create what we call a marketing automation workflow . Simply put, a marketing automation workflow is a flowchart that describes what your marketing automation platform should do if a particular event or situation occurs . To create this diagram, most marketing automation tools allow you to use drag-and-drop visual builders .

Just like in old flowcharts, workflows are assembled using iran telegram data three basic building blocks : conditions, filters, and actions . Conditions – These refer to the “If X happens” part of your marketing automation logic. A condition specifies the event you want to track within your workflow before an action is taken (Examples: If a contact signs up, If a customer abandons their cart, If the date is 14 days before the contact’s birthday , …). Filters – Filters allow you to segment your audience before an action is taken. They are usually used after the condition element and before the action element (Examples: Top 100 subscribers, Only contacts who have a particular attribute, Only contacts who are part of another list ).

Actions – Actions are where you specify what you want to happen after a condition is met. An action can be sending a message (email, SMS, web notification), waiting a certain amount of time, or even tagging or scoring contacts . Marketing automation workflow built with GetResponse Marketing automation workflow example for new subscriber welcome email (built with GetResponse email marketing automation software ) The choice of conditions, actions and filters varies depending on the tool used. In the GetResponse example above, conditions are distinguished by the diamond shape, filters (see Wait 2 days) by the blue rectangle, actions by the gray rectangle.
