The mechanism of search engines depends on three main steps: 1- Crawling Search engines use a team of robots known as crawlers or spiders to visit web pages and then follow other links on those pages. This process is done on a large number of pages continuously in order to index them. 2- Content Analysis After visiting pages, search spiders download the content of these pages, including texts, images, external links, and keywords, in order to understand and classify the content of the page. 3- Indexing The search engine stores the content downloaded by crawlers in a database called the index, and search engines use complex algorithms to arrange this index.
