Empathy and involvement

Post by bappy8 »

It pays off. Anyone who knows how to touch the heart of their target group can tap into a goldmine on interactive platforms like Facebook. People respond much more intensely to content that shows empathy and involvement than to the things of the head. The connection is closer and more lasting, and these people will also be able to forgive you a 'slip of the tongue' more easily. Just look at Ikea's content on YouTube: they understand exactly what drives their customers. What is that? People don't dream of cupboards and storage systems, they dream of space. Once you understand that, interacting with your target group becomes a lot easier and more effective.

4. Invest more time and energy in organizing engagement with your audience
From point 3 you can already deduce that these ideas for interaction with your audience do not just fall out of the buy phone number list sky. You have to think carefully about the content you want to create. You are looking for structure, balance and variety. Thinking ahead and working ahead is therefore a necessity. Make an annual plan for your audience engagement based on your detailed content calendar.

Plan the topics you want to talk about that year. Provide various topics that together, complement each other, cover the entire spectrum of the content strategy you have developed. Then you can also work specifically on recruiting as many 'followers' as possible, people who find your story interesting. As soon as people really participate in those stories, I expect Facebook to reward that with maximum visibility in the message feed.
