Today, the Peruvian market has managed to consolidate itself abroad, not only in Latin America, but also in Europe and Asia.

Several Peruvian brands decided to leave the country and seek new markets through exports, acquisition of firms, stores or franchises , opening of production plants, etc.

AJE GROUP – BIG COLA

Big Cola tops the list of successful Peruvian brands abroad. It is the foundation of Grupo Aje and perhaps the most popular Peruvian product in the countries where it is located. The brand began its expansion in early 1999, when it set out for Venezuela and Ecuador a year later.

For several years, Kola Real (KR) was the multinational's main brand, but when it entered Mexico at the beginning of the last decade, it decided to bet on Big Cola, entering the Mexican market in 2002, opening new doors in Central America such as Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Honduras. By 2006, Big Cola arrived in Spain, and a year later in Colombia and Panama in 2009.

2010 was a very important year for the company, which entered the Asian market. India, Vietnam and Indonesia are the markets where this national brand is positioned . Currently, the multinational is present in more than 20 countries, including Brazil, Chile, Bolivia and the United States. According to data from Euromonitor, Big Cola is the fourth most consumed soft drink in the world.
