Consortium exceeds 11 million participants

The number of active participants in consortium groups reached the highest level in the history of the modality in September . After 62 years of its creation, 11.07 million consortium members were reached, 11.1% above the 9.96 million reached in the same month last year.
The light vehicle consortium continues to be the leader among all segments of the consortium, with 4.77 million participants. This represents 43.1% of the total System. Next comes motorcycles, which occupied the lead until 2014. Next comes real estate, heavy vehicles, electronics and services. Check out the image.
The consortium noted increases in four sectors in active participants: 24.4% in real estate; 8.3% in light vehicles; 11.7% in heavy vehicles and also 11.7% in motorcycles. The sectors that saw a decline in this indicator were electronics and other durable goods (-4.6%) and services (-23.2%).
According to monitoring by ABAC 's economic advisory board , from uae whatsapp list January 2022, when it reached 8.21 million active consortium members, until September 2024, when it reached 11.07 million, the consortium completed thirty-three consecutive months of constant growth, reaching 34.8% growth. During this period, there was only one decline in April 2023.
Consortium sales grow 7%
Sales in the first nine months of the year totaled 3.37 million quotas, 7% more than the 3.15 million obtained in the same period of 2023. This is the result of the sum of 1.32 million quotas of light vehicles; 994.48 thousand of motorcycles and scooters; 734.24 thousand of real estate; 184.47 thousand of heavy vehicles; 97.03 thousand of electronics and other durable movable goods; and 39.63 thousand of services.
The 391.34 thousand quotas traded in September were the third best of the year. They were only below the 481.82 thousand recorded in August, a monthly record in the last twenty years, and the 396.74 thousand in July, showing good performance in the first three months of the second half of the year.
In September, there was a slight increase in the value of the average ticket compared to the same month last year. The R$79.65 thousand recorded in 2024 in the Consortium System was 1.5% higher than the R$78.46 thousand recorded a year ago. Comparatively, in the last five years, the average tickets, for the months of September alone, showed an expansion of 29.6% among the average values recorded.
