Exercise #7: Write a poem
Even if you write nonfiction or novels, you should also write poetry from time to time.

Why?

Because here, too, you learn to search for words. The search for the right rhyme trains your vocabulary and your creative muscles.

Exercise #8: Write a manifesto
Do you believe in something? Do you stand for something? Then write it down. Write a manifesto.

Be brave and forget what "society" dictates as right. This is your creed. Be like Luther and put forward your theses.

Exercise #9: Change Advertising
Find a current advertisement from a magazine, newspaper or advertising column. Rewrite it. Change the headline , change the message, change the choice of words.

Let off steam – as if you uk phone number list were the boss of a major New York advertising agency.

Everything is allowed.

Exercise #10: You only have 3 words
A good exercise to train your creative writing muscle is this: Summarize a movie in three words.

Example from the war film “Saving Private Ryan”: Shoot, find, die.

This exercise is especially useful for writers who have difficulty keeping their writing brief .

Another idea is to summarize your day or your life with just three words: eat, write, sleep.
