Despite how much the way we communicate and gather information has changed over the past 20 years, there is one thing that is still going strong and that is email. Today, we are sending over 100 billion emails daily. It is still considered the “go-to” form of business communication. And oddly enough, while we were trained to use a keyboard in typing classes, no one has really stopped to consider whether we should be trained to use other technology-based platforms like email and social media. Now, considering that email is the primary means of communication in business, shouldn’t that warrant some standard for practice?

I’ve been coming uk consumer email list across so many email mistakes lately – whether it’s about knowing how to communicate via email, how to have the most precise settings for how you reach out via email, or even people confusing how their business should be using email. There have been so many moments lately that I feel like we need to train ourselves to develop basic email skills… or as I like to call it, The 10 Commandments of Email.

Don’t think badly of email – Email is critical in a fast-paced economy, and here’s why. First, mobile technology has always enabled its introduction, which in turn means that people aren’t always available to answer your call “on the go.” – Which brings us to our second point. Because we are such a flexible workforce, we are now focused on two things at once and sometimes three different things at the same time. People are often juggling their jobs, doing multiple projects or dividing their time between work and other professional activities. These two reasons are probably why you are seeing 100 million emails per day; it’s how people communicate.
