In December 2015, TSG Kaiserslautern received the DKBC Gold Seal of Quality for youth work in the association.

At the Christmas party, the certificate was presented to the bowlers by DKBC youth chairwoman Ulrike Klaus in the presence of TSG president Beate Kimmel. Bernhard Lißmann, head of the Classic section of the Rhineland-Palatinate regional association and head of the bowling department at TSG, emphasized: "We are very proud of this award. The investments in our photo editing services youth, particularly in coach training, over the past few years have already paid off. Youth will always be a cornerstone of our bowling department, not least because of our motto: The Modern Classic."

In the 2015/2016 season, six U18 players were already used in the 2nd Bundesliga or were part of the squad. In the TSG men's game in Erlangen-Bruck in the 2014/15 season, the average age of the team was just 19, the youngest team ever in the Bundesliga. Margit Welker, U18 national team coach, was recruited as youth coach.

The DKBC Seal of Quality for youth work within the association is available in three levels and has been available for applications since October 1, 2015, for 2016 (and is valid until 2018).

Previous recipients of the award were Blau-Weiß Auma , KV Liedolsheim , FAF Hirschau , SKK Poing , and SV Geiseltal Mücheln . Successful applications were submitted by TSV Ebermannstadt, SKC Unterharmersbach, and TSV Westhausen.
