CPD encompasses a variety of learning systems, from training workshops, conferences and events to virtual training programmes.

To achieve the IPMA Project Manager certification, divided into four levels, it is necessary to complete a minimum of 35 hours of Continuing Professional Development over a period of at least 5 years.

IPMA Spain cites some of the benefits of this system for professionals:

This is a long-term process to ensure that employees remain competent in their profession.
The aforementioned body indicates that the CPD “ensures that you stay up to date, allowing you to be aware of changing trends and directions in the project profession.”
This training allows the person to continue contributing and even rotate through other positions that allow for greater leadership or training.
Promotes increased public confidence and improves the perception of project professionals.
But this training is not the only training available for professionals. In project management there are countless certifications that endorse the skills of professionals. Some of them are:

PMP: Project Management Professional .
CSM: Certified ScrumMaster. Refers to a very common framework in project development.
MPM: Master Project Manager.
FUNIBER sponsors a wide variety of university programs aimed at offering professionals a complete overview of the main trends in the area of projects and the certifications they must obtain to stay up to date. One of the courses offered is the Master's Degree in Project Design, Management and Direction . Students of this master's degree, residing in America, have the possibility of applying for the IPMA Level D certification.
