Respondents mostly consider AI content to be business owner data credible, but some are still concerned about loss of privacy or false information.
Google beats ChatGPT - or not?
In the survey, consumers were given a list of different situations and use cases in which they were asked to indicate whether a search engine or an artificial intelligence tool provided them with a better user experience.
In most cases, Google Search won, but a large percentage of users believe that AI will do a better job.
Similarly, participants could only choose one tool for the entire purchasing process. Here too, Google received by far the most votes, but when the results of ChatGPT, which was second, and Gemini, which was third, were added up, the difference was very small.
