Someone will say, Google sends us notifications. Yes, but only when we have less than 100 locations in our account. Also ask yourself if you have the ability to watch over these changes day and night? You may now think that nothing will happen if the data is incorrect for a few days/weeks. However, you take on the responsibility of not acquiring hundreds of new customers who use Google Maps every day to reach your stores. What if they arrive and the store is closed because someone suggested incorrect opening hours a few days earlier?
How do we handle suggested changes when managing Google listings?
We have also found a way to do this. We have expanded our ios database internal tool with a function to restore the original company profile settings. Thanks to this, we have stopped worrying about them and so have our Clients! After detecting a change on the business card (up to 2 hours), the tool resets the original data. Importantly, we have ongoing monitoring of such situations in the form of email notifications. Thanks to them, we know about every change that is suggested on the profile. And again, it is only a few seconds, but it saves us hours during a month of our work.

Updating your data isn’t the only problem with managing Google My Business when you’re managing a large number of locations. It also gets complicated when you want to add new posts. Can you imagine how long it would take you to add the same post to 50 listings? Or 100? You could easily write a bunch of new content in that time.

For us, publishing a post takes just a few minutes of work.
